KBRA Releases Surveillance Report for Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company

On July 27, 2023, KBRA upgraded the insurance financial strength rating of Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company (Knighthead Annuity) to A from A-. KBRA also upgraded the debt rating to BBB+ from BBB on Knighthead Annuity's $50 million prescribed capital notes (subordinate unsecured debt) due December 2042. The Outlooks for both ratings are Stable.
