- Founded in January 2006, Banesco USA (“Banesco” or “the bank”), headquartered in Coral Gables, FL, is an independently operating bank without a holding company structure. Banesco operates five branches in Miami, one branch in San Juan, Puerto Rico and one LPO/DPO in West Palm Beach, FL serving a diverse domestic and international client base. As a privately held bank, Banesco is majority-owned by Mr. Escotet Rodriguez who also owns similar stakes in financial companies in Spain (ABANCA) and Latin American countries (Banesco Group) including Venezuela, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Curacao. Although affiliated through common ownership, Banesco is a standalone legal entity and does not hold any associated country risk or credit risk with the other affiliated companies.
