U.S. Equipment Loan & Lease ABS Indices: July 2026
Monthly Overview
KBRA’s headline Equipment Loan and Lease ABS Index remained largely stable in July, with both annualized net losses and 60+ delinquencies declining 1 basis point (bp) month-over-month (MoM). Net losses fell 16 bps in the Large Ticket sub-index, largely offsetting a 20-bp increase in the Small-Medium Ticket sub-index. Similarly, an 8-bp decline in Large Ticket delinquencies was largely offset by a 9-bp increase in Small-Medium Ticket delinquencies.
On a year-over-year (YoY) basis, the headline index showed improved performance across both metrics. Headline net losses declined 36 bps YoY, reflecting declines of 47 bps in the Small-Medium Ticket sub-index and 33 bps in the Large Ticket sub-index. Meanwhile, headline delinquencies fell 10 bps YoY, driven by a 24-bp decline in the Large Ticket sub-index and partially offset by a 10-bp increase in the Small-Medium Ticket sub-index.
