(NASDAQ: ZION) (“Zions” or “the bank”) is an ~$89 billion-asset commercial bank headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT that conducts business through seven separately managed and geographically defined affiliate bank divisions across 11 Western and Southwestern U.S. states. Zions commands solid deposit market share in its home state of Utah and notable share positions across its geographic footprint. Affiliate banks operate in each of their respective states under their heritage names, brands, and management teams, with all subsidiaries consolidated under the single Zions charter since 2015. In 2018, Zions merged its BHC into the bank, further reducing organizational complexity and eliminating duplicative regulatory oversight.
