KBRA Affirms and Upgrades Ratings for Jamestown Residential 2024-1 DAC

KBRA Europe (KBRA) has completed a surveillance review of Jamestown Residential 2024-1 DAC (Jamestown 2024), which resulted in the affirmation of the Class A notes, Class B notes, and Class C notes and the upgrade of the Class D notes, Class E notes, Class F notes and Class G notes. KBRA’s analysis indicated that the existing credit enhancement is sufficient to support the rating actions.

Jamestown 2024 is a static RMBS securitisation backed by seasoned, restructured and reperforming Irish mortgages. The portfolio has a current balance of €579.5 million (€702.1 million closing balance), excluding €5.2 million of unsecured loans, and is secured by owner-occupied (93.0%) and buy-to-let properties (7.0%). The mortgage loans were originated by Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Limited (44.5%), Start Mortgages DAC (18.7%), Nua Homeloans Limited (2.4%) and the Bank of Ireland group and its subsidiaries (34.4%). Jamestown 2024 is currently being serviced by Pepper Finance Corporation (Ireland) DAC (65.6%) and The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland (34.4%). The portfolio currently has a weighted average seasoning of 19.6 years. The transaction closed in July 2024, with the first optional redemption date in July 2027 and the final legal maturity date in January 2063.
