KBRA Releases Report Affirming Miami-Dade County Aviation Revenue Bonds at AA-, Stable Outlook

On November 16, 2023, KBRA affirmed its long-term AA- rating, with a Stable Outlook assigned to Miami-Dade County, FL's ("the County's") outstanding Aviation Revenue Bonds. The Miami-Dade Aviation Department ("the Department"), an enterprise fund of the County, operates Miami International Airport ("MIA"), along with three general aviation airports and a training airport. Aviation Revenue Bonds are special obligations of the County, payable primarily from Net Revenues derived from the Department's operation of MIA.
