KBRA Releases Report Assigning AAA Rating to Harris County, TX’s Permanent Improvement and Unlimited Tax Road Refunding Bonds, Series 2023A; Outlook is Stable

On July 21, 2023, KBRA assigned a long-term rating of AAA to Harris County, TX’s Permanent Improvement Refunding Bonds, Series 2023A and Unlimited Tax Road Refunding Bonds, Series 2023A. KBRA additionally affirmed the long-term AAA rating for the County’s outstanding Tax and Subordinate Lien Revenue Certificates of Obligation.

The Stable Outlook reflects KBRA’s expectation that the County’s economy, financial management practices, and capacity to raise ad valorem tax revenue will continue to provide robust flexibility for the County to meet its debt obligations.
