  • Veritex Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: VBTX) (“the company) (est. 2009) is the bank holding company for Veritex Community Bank (“the bank”), a commercially focused bank primarily serving the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston MSAs. In addition to traditional commercial banking products and services, VBTX has several relatively small national lending segments including mortgage warehouse, lender finance, specialty finance, and USDA and SBA lending programs. These national lending segments represented approximately 13% of total loans at 1Q24.
  • The commercially focused loan portfolio includes a well-diversified C&I loan book (29% of total loans at 1Q24) as well as elevated concentrations in investor CRE and C&D lending (319% and 108%, respectively, of risk-based capital at 1Q24).
