KBRA releases its U.S. Residential Transition Loan Securitization Rating Methodology. The document sets forth KBRA’s methodology for the rating and ongoing surveillance of structured finance transactions backed by U.S. Residential Transition Loans (RTLs). The key components of KBRA’s U.S. Residential Transition Loan Securitization Rating Methodology include the following: RTL originator, aggregator, and servicer reviews; third-party due diligence review; asset analysis; and assessment of securitization structure.

KBRA does not currently maintain ratings on transactions for which this methodology would apply, and as a result, no rating changes will occur in conjunction with this publication.
