Based in Orange, CA and operating in 50 states and Puerto Rico, the company’s principal business activities include the acquisition, servicing, rehabilitation, and liquidation of deeply delinquent, first lien residential mortgage loans, real estate owned properties (“REO”), and reverse mortgages. At 2Q25, the company held ~$400 million (FV) in nonperforming loans (“NPLs”) on its balance sheet.
GITSIT acquires loans via a network of 600+ institutional counterparties and from government agencies (primarily HUD), electing to focus on distressed mortgage loans to borrowers experiencing a “life event” default (i.e., unexpected health event or death).
