KBRA Takes Rating Actions on Syon Securities

KBRA UK (KBRA) has completed surveillance reviews on Syon Securities 2019 DAC (Syon 2019), Syon Securities 2020 DAC (Syon 2020) and Syon Securities 2020-2 DAC (Syon 2020-2) transactions (collectively Syon Securities) which resulted in the following rating actions:

1) for Syon 2019, affirmation of the Class A and Class B ratings and the upgrade of the Class C and Class D ratings;2) for Syon 2020, affirmation of the Class A and Class B ratings and the upgrade of the Class C ratings; and3) for Syon 2020-2, affirmation of the Class A ratings and the upgrade of the Class B ratings.

The rating actions reflect the positive collateral performance evidenced by relatively benign levels of arrears and losses as well as the increased credit support for each rated class since issuance. Syon Securities are synthetic risk transfer mortgage transactions referencing mortgages originated by Bank of Scotland plc (BOS) on residential properties located in the UK.
